Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell recently offered his ‘overwhelming support’ for the establishment of a Greater Manchester Law Centre. In his video, available to view here, he explains how law centres not only provide legal advice, but help to ‘dynamically empower people’.
He described the initiative as great and called for a network of law centres across the country, as well as calling on central government to play a key role. He finishes by saying ‘anything I can do to help, I will’.
