On Friday afternoon we had the pleasure of welcoming Andy Burnham MP to the Greater Manchester Law Centre. Andy has long expressed his support for our campaign and has often emphasised his concern that people are “finding it harder and harder to get access to justice”. During our meeting Andy stressed how “face to face advice cannot be replaced” and in light of current shifts towards “virtual justice” (see here) this is certainly an area of growing concern.
The backing of local MPs is, however, invaluable in combatting these issues and we would like to thank Andy once again for his ongoing support and for taking the time to visit us last week.
