We would like to send huge congratulations to Greater Manchester Law Centre on their massively successful launch celebration! The launch took place on Saturday 11th February, firstly at their premises in Moss Side, where special guests attended the unveiling of a plaque to signify the occasion by Human Rights and Criminal Solicitor Robert Lizar and a ribbon cutting by Activist Dr Erinma Bell.
Over 500 people attended the celebration, including patrons actress Maxine Peake and Human Rights Lawyer Michael Mansfield QC who both spoke of their praise and support for the law centre and access to justice.
John Nicholson, Chair of Greater Manchester Law Centre said “the day exceeded all our expectations and we were overwhelmed with the goodwill from so many people, in the local community, from legal and academic backgrounds, from campaigns and trades unions.”
